The meaning of Dynamic

According to the Oxford Advanced Learner's English-Chinese Dictionary, ‘dynamic' is an adjective, defined as ‘ of power, energetic and forceful '. The word ‘dynamic' is a vivid description of our 15 committee members , who are all full of energy and enthusiasm . A common goal brings us together -- to form a student union which every of our schoolmates finds contentment in . It is the aim of every SU cabinet every year, but we think more and think bigger --- we want our school and our schoolmates to become more ‘dynamic' . During our previous years of study, we observed that students in Tang Hin usually give outsiders one general impression --- in spite of their excellent performance in the academic field, they seem far from active in joining extra-curricular activities. Some schoolmates even find it meaningless to join activities, specifically organised by the student union. This is the phenomenon that we are longing to change. We understand that as all-round students, we should strike a proper balance between work and play . By organising a series of activities, we hope to arouse student's interest in taking a more active part in their school life, and to cultivate their sense of belongings . We hope that every students are energetic, and every of them can add vitality to the school .

Besides, ‘dynamic' also stands for ‘ Don't you need a more innovative cabinet?' . ‘ Innovative ' means ‘ introducing or using new ideas '. Youngsters like the new, as well as our schoolmates. We are quite sure that they would not be willing to vote for a SU cabinet which solely copies the policies of former SU cabinets as its own. We believe that the only way to attract students to join our activities is to add some new, exciting elements to the original, boring routine. Innovation is what students want and need . So, that is what we will do.

Innovation requires a driving force . According to the dictionary above, ‘dynamic' can also be used as a noun, meaning ‘ force that produces change, action, or effects '. We, ‘Dynamic', will be the force. We know that actions speak louder than words. We promise that we will try our best . We are willing to listen to any advice with a most humble mind to try and turn every of our proposals into reality . Our goal is to make our schoolmates maximally benefited from our new activities and services.
